Chris Hadfield

Chris Hadfield Explores Sustainable Progress with Audi Canada

Audi hosted its first House of Progress event in North America. This global event took place in Montreal in 2022, where thought leaders from across multiple disciplines engaged in meaningful, forward-thinking conversations on sustainable innovation and progress.

Audi Canada invited Colonel Chris Hadfield to join their conversation on progress and performance. Known for his passion for space exploration, innovation, and technology, and a trusted voice within the science community, Chris was a natural partner for this event. He shared his unique insights on performance, having excelled in some of the most extreme working conditions, from leading a team at the Aquarius Underwater Laboratory 62 feet below the ocean’s surface to commanding the International Space Station for six months off planet. This partnership will continue to grow throughout 2023.

Jessi Cruickshank

Jessi Cruickshank Explores the Challenges of Parenting with Pampers

Pampers partnered with everyone’s favourite millennial mom Jessi Cruickshank to promote their Swaddlers and Cruisers360 products. Jessi created custom, professionally produced and edited content to appeal authentically to her dedicated community of 188K+ followers across her personal and New Mom, Who Dis Instagram channels. This included a sweet reel featuring her daughter, first as a newborn and now as a one-year-old, to show how Pampers is a growing baby’s best friend.

Jessi has been called the Internet’s funniest mom by Today’s Parent and is one of Canada’s most followed television personalities on social media according to Toronto Life. With the success of her New Mom, Who Dis? platform — which has grown into a national brand since it launched in 2018 — she leads an expert team in producing engaging digital videos, social media content, columns, newsletters, and more. Her average engagement on IG is 3.56% with a 149.7K+ average reach.

Arisa Cox

Arisa Cox Celebrates Fall Fashion with Reitmans

Fashion-forward host of Big Brother Canada Arisa Cox teamed up with Reitmans to showcase their must-have looks for the fall. The campaign launched in-store and online in September, and included a professional photo shoot and digital ad.

In addition to posting the branded digital ad across her platforms, Arisa also self-produced a reel showcasing her favourite fall fashion trends with her Instagram community of 41K+ followers, and promoted Reitmans as a go-to brand for women’s fashion.

Arisa’s infectious energy and enthusiasm for Reitmans — where she bought her first suit! — and their fall fashion choices encouraged a lot of conversation online, earning a 15.94% engagement rate.

Sangita Patel and Tracy Moore

Sangita Patel and Tracy Moore Put Their Health First with Jamieson

The Spotlight Agency has worked with The Influence Agency on behalf of their client Jamieson for the past three years, partnering the brand with multiple talent to help expand their reach in the Canadian market. In 2022, they partnered with health conscious television hosts Sangita Patel of ET Canada and Tracy Moore of Cityline to celebrate their 100-year anniversary.

Both Sangita and Tracy are known within their communities for their love and commitment to fitness and health. They each delivered eight original, self-produced pieces of content that explored the health benefits of Jamieson products and how they fit into their health routines. This content was posted organically across their Instagram and TikTok accounts, and included reels, static posts, and digital videos with a combined reach of 2.06M+.

Anna Olson

Anna Olson’s 360 Partnership with LG Canada Renewed for Fourth Year

Chef Anna Olson entered her fourth year as a brand ambassador for LG Canada in 2022. This long-term partnership is a direct result of Anna’s versatility as a popular and well-loved chef with 981K+ loyal followers across her social platforms as well as her unique ability to self-produce quality, creative digital content.

In partnership with LG, Anna develops custom recipes tied to key holidays while highlighting the benefits that LG products bring to her baking process. Deliverables have included multiple social media campaigns with static posts as well as digital videos and reels to be shared across both LG Canada’s and Anna’s platforms, a custom landing page for their community to access exclusive recipes, media appearances, and more.

Anna’s background as a Food Network Canada celebrity chef, a bestselling author of 11 cookbooks, and an experienced content creator with 1.38M+ loyal YouTube subscribers, makes her an in-demand personality who can deliver on a 360° partnership.

Andrew Phung

Andrew Phung Joins the Giant Tiger Team in Fun Digital Ad

Beloved for his award-winning role on CBC’s hit show Kim’s Convenience, Andrew Phung is also the co-creator, executive producer, and star of CBC’s Run the Burbs, which enters its second season this year. As a brand partner, Andrew brings his unique skills as a comedian, actor, and writer to all of his partnerships.

In 2022, The Spotlight Agency helped National PR pair Andrew with Giant Tiger to appear in two brand-produced digital ads designed to showcase the career opportunities Giant Tiger has to offer. In the ads, Andrew was “drafted” to Team Tiger where he showed off the perks of joining the GT family and invited his followers to apply to their local store.

These digital spots showcased Andrew’s signature off-the-cuff comedic charm and boundless enthusiasm, earning a 7.05% engagement rate.
