Cheryl Hickey

Cheryl Hickey is known to be a Canadian fashion icon, no doubt in part from her glamourous outfits every night on television. Beautiful colours, shimmering fabrics, and of course, fantastic shoes, were staples during her time on ET Canada. She is also known to be extremely generous and charitable. Last week, Cheryl let her fans know the answer to the question we’ve all been dying to ask: what happened to all those years of incredible, amazing clothes?

A look back at some of Cheryl’s chic outfits:

Cheryl Donating clothes for a cause

In an Instagram Reel, Cheryl wrote:
“Well, when the show ended I knew there was opportunity here… opportunity to give. To leave the building with a special energy of giving after all these years. These clothes and shoes will now get a second life at “Suits Me Fine” a place patients from CAMH can go to find exactly what they need for free as they take the next step in life. Maybe that’s everyday life, job, a special event or even a wedding. These are all sent with so much love and energy to those who need it. ”

She also added links for her audience to donate and support the CAMH Foundation, an organisation dedicated to improving mental health care forever.

A History of Generosity

Cheryl Hickey and friends at COMKIDS Fundraiser

Cheryl is no stranger to giving back. In fact, she recently attended a fundraiser for COMKIDS, an organisation that aims to provide youth with technology, digital literacy, and life tools.

Cheryl also has a longstanding relationship with Sickkids Hospital.
Her latest partnership with Alair homes aimed to highlight the homebuilding industry, while also supporting the SickKids Foundation in their quest to build a new hospital.

A blurb on the Alair website reads: “Though the series shows you a fun, exciting, and emotional look at renovations in the GTA, we also aim to support an organization that Cheryl and Alair both care deeply about. The video series culminates in a fundraising effort for SickKids. In addition, Alair’s Canadian partners have collectively pledged to donate $100,000 over the next five years to the SickKids Foundation.”

In addition, Cheryl is a continued supporter of Canadian food banks, Habitat for Humanity, and is even a Celebrated Ambassador for Plan International Canada.

We can’t wait to see what’s next in store for Cheryl. In the meantime, we’ve put together a reel of all of our favourite Cheryl moments. You can check it out below:
