Emily Michelle is an interior designer, thrifting expert, television host, and founder of Emily Michelle Home. She is the star of The Emily Michelle Project, a series produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment for HGTV, where she helps homeowners achieve their dream spaces through bargain hunting, thrifting, and creative DIY — delivering high-end, elevated looks without the big price tag.
A wife and mother of three from Southwestern Ontario, Emily’s journey to success was anything but conventional. After becoming a teen mom and leaving high school before graduation, she was determined to create a different future for herself and her family. What began with refinishing second-hand furniture and selling pieces online eventually grew into a thriving interior design business, retail store, and television career.
Over the years, Emily has faced challenges that forced her to slow down and reevaluate everything. Rather than giving up, she rebuilt her life and business from the ground up, using creativity, resilience, and hard work to move forward.
Known for her ability to see potential where others don’t, Emily has built her brand around making great design accessible. Whether she’s transforming a room, restoring a forgotten piece of furniture, or helping a homeowner stretch their budget, she believes beautiful spaces shouldn’t be reserved for those with unlimited resources.
Today, Emily balances entrepreneurship, television, motherhood, and marriage while inspiring others to pursue their dreams, trust their instincts, and create a life they love—regardless of where they started.
