Spotlight On: Upcoming Television Shows!

Our talent are stealing the spotlight in a new slate of upcoming TV shows, and we’re eagerly counting down the days until we can watch! We’ve summed up all of the announcements below so that you can easily add your faves to your binge list!
David Rocco’s Eating Dirty

David Rocco and his Dolce Vita lifestyle are back! In Eating Dirty, David embarks on a delicious food-centric journey through the incredible towns, cities and villages of one of the world’s ultimate foodie heavens: Italy!
The show follows David (and his appetite) from Florence, to Naples, and Sicily, celebrating quality ingredients, bold flavours and, of course, rich regional cultures.
The show is currently wrapping up post-production, but you’ll be able to watch David Rocco’s Eating Dirty this fall on the Food Network, or stream it on Citytv+.
Small Town Escapes with Colin and Justin

Colin and Justin are on a roll! The famous design duo released Colin and Justin’s Sub Zero Reno just this past January, and are already following it up with another brand-new show: Small Town Escapes with Colin and Justin!
Colin and Justin aim to make homebuyers’ dreams come true, and guide hopeful buyers looking to purchase a piece of paradise on Canada’s east coast. Colin will suggest one house, Justin another, and a third “wildcard” house will be considered by the buyers before they make their ultimate decision.
The show is currently still in production, but it is slated to air on HGTV as well as Citytv+.
Bake Master Battle with Dina Pugliese

Dina Pugliese returned to Breakfast Television earlier this year, and is now gearing up for a new culinary adventure: hosting the festive & competitive Bake Master Battle!
Along with head judge April Julian, Dina will be guiding contestants through a “high-stakes bake-off”. Talented bakers will compete for incredible prizes, with episodes revolving around festive themed challenges (such as Halloween and Spring).
The show will be is slated for a fall release on the Food Network and Citytv+.
Beer Budget Reno with Kristen Coutts

Have you seen Kristen Coutts creating her Do-It-Yourself masterpieces on Beer Budget Reno? For those out of the loop, Kristen’s budget-friendly home hacks have started airing on the Home Network as of September this year, and the show is also available on AETV. Audiences are already raving about how refreshing it is to have a renovation show with budgets that don’t break the bank.
Project Runway Canada

Project Runway Canada is finally making its much-awaited return! Crave has announced a 10-episode run, and we couldn’t ask for a better cast: Coco Rocha has been announced as host, with Jeanne Beker as head judge!
The series will be produced in collaboration with Fashion at The Creative School, Toronto Metropolitan University. As of fall 2025, production is still underway.
Dragons’ Den

Dragons’ Den will be back for an incredible 20th season! We can’t wait to see Michele Romanow, Wes Hall, Arlene Dickinson, and Manjit Minhas back in their element in the Den. Fun fact: this season features special guest Dragon, Drew Scott!
12 new episodes of entrepreneurial excitement are slated to release September 25th on CBC and CBC Gem.
More Connected with Tracy Moore

In case you missed it, Tracy Moore‘s one-hour special aired on August 31st. Her goal with More Connected was to bring healing, vulnerability and inner growth to mainstream media. We think it was a major success, but don’t just take our word for it — check out what the studio audience had to say!
If you missed the special, don’t worry: it’s currently available for streaming on Citytv+.
Murdoch Mysteries Season 19

Yannick Bisson is back as Detective William Murdoch in Canada’s longest running and most watched period mystery, Murdoch Mysteries! Set in Toronto in the early 1900’s, Murdoch and his wife Dr. Julia Ogden work together to solve gruesome murders with new forensic techniques.
The much-loved series is set to return October 6th, and you can watch it on CBC or stream it on CBC Gem.
